Marvellous Mayfair – a walk through Mayfair looking at the last 300 years; architecture, shops, and the history and residents (past and present).  We will see some of the grand houses where the  aristocracy lived and also the mews houses built to accommodate their servants, horses and carriages.  We will see some of the most exclusive shops in the area and a Church built in the grounds of a former Workhouse with a grand altar designed by Augustus Pugin, responsible for Big Ben.
